A reported gun seen in a student’s backpack on a Plymouth Community Schools bus turned out to just be a plastic toy.
A student told an adult that they saw a gun in another student’s backpack on the school bus Monday morning, April 25, WNDU reported. The adult called police and the gun — a plastic toy gun — was found in a trash can on the bus.
The student who had the toy gun was eventually identified. It’s not clear if the student will be punished.
Parents of Plymouth students received a phone call about the incident.
