After deliberating for almost four hours, a jury in St. Joseph County Superior Court found Herbert Lee Brown, III, guilty of rape and armed robbery.
Brown was charged in January of 2015, for robberies that the prosecutor says he committed at the S. Miami Street 7-Eleven gas station and raping a victim from the gas station parking lot.
Brown’s sentencing is set for Feb. 24.
