Person of interest sought in donation box theft at Warsaw church

The Warsaw Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man they call a person of interest in a case where an individual allegedly walked into a local church and broke into donation boxes set aside to support local charities that help those in need in the community.

The male subject rode a bicycle to the church, according to 95.3 MNC’s news partners at News Now Warsaw.

Anyone who recognizes the man in the accompanying photo is asked to contact recognize the Warsaw Police Detective Division at 574-372-9515.

An anonymous tip can be left at 574-807-9159.
