Two people injured in two separate shootings in South Bend

South Bend Police are investigating two separate shootings that left two people injured.

The most recent shooting happened during the early morning hours, Thursday, Dec. 24, in the 2400 block of Arrowhead Circle, near Indian Ridge Apartments, according to WNDU.

The victim is a man who was shot in the upper part of the body, WSBT reported.

Police have a suspect, WSBT reported.

That shooting happened just a few hours after South Bend Police were called to investigate a shooting that landed one person in the hospital with bullet wounds to the stomach, leg and hand, WNDU reported.

It happened around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, in the 100 block of North Illinois Street.

The victim is a teeanger, according to WSBT. There was no word on the victim’s condition or what led to the shooting as of 6 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 24.

Police have not announced any suspects or arrests in that shooting.
