David Bacon's funeral arrangements set for Sept. 24 in Plymouth

Visitation and funeral services are set for a 17-year-old Plymouth High School student who died on Sunday, Sept. 20.

The visitation for David Bacon is set to be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at Plymouth Wesleyan Church, 11203 Michigan Road, Plymouth, according to his obituary.

The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. David’s uncle, Pastor Daniel Szombathy, and Pastor Oliver Dungell will officiate the funeral.

David valued family, faith, education and sports. He attended Plymouth Wesleyan Church and played football, basketball and baseball at Plymouth High School. He was also a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council and the Student Athletic Council at PHS.

He will be remembered forever by his parents, David and Kathy Bacon; his younger siblings, Elizabeth Ann and Daniel Lewis; and several other family members, friends, coaches and teammates.
