Supreme Court same-sex marriage ruling: March planned in downtown South Bend celebrating court decision

LGBT people and supporters of same-sex marriage plan to march in downtown South Bend during the lunch hour Friday, June 26, in celebration of the Supreme Court’s landmark decision on same-sex marriage.

Local LGBT activist Joel Barrett tweeted notice of the march.

Participants should gather at noon at the St. Joseph County Courthouse in downtown South Bend. From there, the group will march to the State Theater and then to the Chicory Cafe.
