Fallen officers honored during blood drives with South Bend, Mishawaka police

The South Bend and Mishawaka police departments are hosting blood drives this week to honor officers who have been wounded or who have died in the line of duty.

The South Bend Police Department blood drive is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, at police headquarters, 701 Sample St.

The Mishawaka Police Department blood drive is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, at the station, 200 N. Church St.

Appointments can be scheduled online or by calling the Medical Foundation at 574-258-1683 for both the South Bend and Mishawaka blood drives.
