Claypool man sentenced to 10 years in prison after pellet gun robbery

A Claypool man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison on charges of robbery with a deadly weapon.

It was April of last year when 31-year-old Daniel Ybarra Jr. of Claypool walked into the Lassus Handy-Dandy in Warsaw, pulled a gun and robbed the clerk.

The next day, Ybarra’s girlfriend helped officers find the weapon used in the robbery.

It turned out to be a pellet gun.
