Michigan State to study effect of manufactured chemicals on the environment

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan State University is getting an $800,000 federal grant to study the impact of manufactured chemicals on ecosystems.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced the grant Tuesday. The agency said in a news release that Michigan State would use the grant to study neurological function in fish and the effects of chemicals.
