Prairie Street overpass construction resumes Monday, will continue through the fall

Construction on the Prairie Street overpass project resumed Monday, April 6, as phase two of the project begins.

The road is closed just north of Main Street and just south of Middlebury Street but the intersections are open, according to 95.3 MNC’s news partners at The Elkhart Truth.

During this phase of the project, the overpass will be built and utility infrastructure will be upgraded.

Prairie Street is scheduled to reopen in the fall.
