Alma Del Real is still missing, South Bend police actively searching for her

Police are still actively searching for a 22-year-old South Bend woman who hasn’t been seen since 3:30 a.m. Sunday, April 12.

Investigators who are searching for Alma Del Real are asking the public to call Det. Jen Gobel with any and all information about her whereabouts, according to a news release from the South Bend Police Department. Gobel can be reached directly at 574-235-7478.

“Several pieces of helpful information that were discussed amongst Alma’s friends via social media could have moved the investigation forward had police received the messages first-hand in a timely manner,” the press release stated. Police were notified about the social media conversations through other family and friends.

Del Real hasn’t been seen since Sunday morning when a friend dropped her off at her Ewing Avenue home after they left Studio Rumba 305.

Del Real is 5 foot 5 inches tall and weighs 137 pounds, according to the news release. She was last seen wearing light blue skinny high-waisted pants that are ripped, a black crop top and a tan leather fitted jacket.
