A search for a 47-year-old Michigan man suspected of killing his mother is over.
Monty Ray Menefee was arrested Tuesday morning in Ohio after an Ohio State Highway Patrol officer identified the stolen vehicle he was driving, WNDU reported.
Police have been searching for Menefee since his mother, 79-year-old Lavonne Monta, was found stabbed to death in the 500 block of Washington Street in Coloma, Mich., on Friday, April 24, according to previous reporting.

Police first called him a person of interest, but they eventually said he’s a suspect in Monta’s death.
