Taste of Michiana 2015 brings together food, beer and wine from around northern Indiana and southwest Michigan

The flavors of Michiana will be gathered into one place for your tastebud’s enjoyment at Taste of Michiana next week.

The 25th annual event will feature about 40 different restaurants and wineries from around the area serving up their best food, beer and wine, according to 95.3 MNC’s news partner Flavor 574. There will be food and desserts available for children.

Chef Bela Szalay is hosting Taste of Michiana and proceeds go to Life Treatment Center, a nonprofit substance abuse treatment center where Szalay is executive chef.

Taste of Michiana is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, at the Century Center, 120 S. Saint Joseph Street, South Bend. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children and get attendees access to all food, wine, beer and pop. Tickets can be purchased online.
