Guns, household items stolen in string of break-ins in Berrien County

Police in Michigan are warning area residents to be on the lookout for suspicious people after a rash of home burglaries.

“Several” home burglaries were reported in Bertrand Township and Weesaw Township on June 3, according to a news release from the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.

Household items and several long guns were taken in from the homes, according to the news release.

Michiana Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the break-ins.
