Teenager hospitalized after being stabbed in the face, police say

A 17-year-old boy was taken to Memorial Hospital after police say he was stabbed in the face Wednesday night, June 10.

Officers with the South Bend Police Department were called at about 6:40 p.m. to the 4500 block of Linden Road in South Bend.

The stabbing happened after a fight, according to 95.3 MNC’s news partners ABC 57. The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
