Pet of the Week: Sadie likes long walks, other animals and playing with a loving family

Looking for a new furry four-legged friend? The Humane Society of St. Joseph County has several dogs, cats, birds and other animals looking for a forever home.

This week’s 95.3 MNC Pet of the Week is Sadie, a 3-year-old spayed hound mix. Here’s more about her:

I’m a lovable girl looking for my new furrever home! I can be shy at first but I warm up quickly. I love to play and be active by taking long walks. I enjoy the company of other dogs and cats too. I’d thrive in a home with older children over the age of 5 who understand that I need to be treated with respect and given my space at times. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, I’m the one!

ADOPTION CENTER INFORMATION

  • Noon to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday
  • Noon to 4 p.m. Sundays (May through September)

Adoptable cats and dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on appropriate vaccinations and tests. Not all pocket pets are spayed, neutered, microchipped or vaccinated.
