Meth bust leads to two arrests in Dowagiac on Wednesday

Two people were arrested after meth labs, meth trash and other meth-related items were found in a Dowagiac, Mich., home on Wednesday, July 22.

A 43-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, who were not identified by police, were arrested on preiminary charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, manufacturing hazardous waste and possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, according to a news release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

The two were arrested after police executed a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Haines Street. Inside the home, police found three one-pot meth labs, meth trash, hazardous chemicals associated with making meth and meth, according to the news release.

The suspects are being held at the Cass County Jail pending arraignment in the Cass County 4th District Court.

The case remains under investigation.
