At least one person was shot on the west side of South Bend on Monday afternoon, Aug. 10.

Officers were called at about 12:50 p.m. to the 200 block of Chicago Street and found a male victim who was shot in the leg, according to a tweet from the South Bend Police Department.

A suspect may have driven south away from the scene.
