34-year-old Indiana man dies after tractor overturns on him

FAIRLAND, Ind. (AP) — Police say a 34-year-old man has died after a tractor overturned on him while he was clearing land in Shelby County.

Indiana State Police say authorities responded to a report of an overturned farm tractor around 1:50 p.m. Tuesday in Fairland, about 30 miles southeast of Indianapolis. According to State Police, Joseph Stenger of Fountaintown had been clearing land on a slope when the tractor overturned, pinning him.

Stenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
