Motorcycle collides with horse and buggy in rural Indiana

MILFORD, Ind. (AP) — Two people were seriously injured when a motorcycle collided with a horse and buggy on a rural road in northern Indiana.

The crash happened Thursday near Milford in Kosciusko County.

WANE-TV reports that the driver of the motorcycle, 58-year-old Tracy Newcomer of Nappanee, was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition.

A passenger in the buggy, 58-year-old Frieda Lehman, was hospitalized in serious condition with leg, chest and back injuries.

The driver of the buggy was not hurt.
