Search for Cass County inmate who escaped work detail underway

ORIGINAL STORY: The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an inmate who walked away from work detail.

Jason Matthew Graham, 20, is believed to have taken off around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, according to a news release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

Graham is described as white with black hair, 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue pants and a white T-shirt.

He is considered a low-risk inmate, however, members of the public should not approach him. Instead, call 911 immediately.

Graham was sentenced for a charge of obstructing justice and was serving his time at the Cass County Jail.
