Pet of the Week: Jack is a smart Lab mix who loves going on walks

Looking for a new furry four-legged friend? The Humane Society of St. Joseph County has several dogs, cats, birds and other animals looking for a forever home.

This week’s 95.3 MNC Pet of the Week is Jack, a 2-year-old neutered lab mix. Here’s some more about him:

Hit the road Jack… for a dog walk, come on, come on, come on! If you have been looking for a loving companion and sidekick, the wait is over! Jack is a loving and smart Labrador mix who came to the shelter as a stray. He loves going for walks and already knows basic commands like “sit” and “shake.” Consider meeting this handsome guy and making him a part of your family!

ADOPTION CENTER INFORMATION

  • Noon to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday
  • Noon to 4 p.m. Sundays (May through September)

Adoptable cats and dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on appropriate vaccinations and tests. Not all pocket pets are spayed, neutered, microchipped or vaccinated.
