Police have identified the man found dead in a South Bend parking lot on Sunday, Oct. 11.
Robert Baron, 54, of Elkhart was found dead in a parking lot near Main and South streets at about 8:30 a.m. by a passerby, according to a news release from the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office.
An autopsy is being performed on his body Monday morning, Oct. 12, in Kalamazoo.
