ENJOY BEER, FOOD TASTINGS AT WEDNESDAY BEER WALKS IN SOUTH BEND
Fall in love with downtown South Bend and all of the unique food it has to offer.
From 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, folks can head downtown for Wednesday beer Walks, according to 95.3 MNC’s partners at Flavor 574.
For $40, participants get three beer and three food tastings at participating restaurants, including Cafe Navarre, Chicory Cafe, Fiddler’s Hearth and more.
There are free carriage rides and shuttle service available.

SAVE THE DATE FOR ELKHART DINING DAYS
Elkhart Dining Days is coming back and the list is shaping up.
The nine-day event from Oct. 30 through Nov. 7, brought to you by Flavor 574 and Lochmandy Motors, celebrates the independent dining scene in Elkhart while helping out Church Community Services.
Participating restaurants will have specials of up to $30. Ten percent of proceeds from Elkhart Dining Days meals will help people with food, financial assistance and job training here at home.

BELL’S BREWERY RELEASING FIRST BEER BREWED IN FORMER STROH TANKS
What was old is new again for Stroh Brewing Company and Bell’s Brewery.
Huge, 100-year-old fermenters made their way to Bell’s, according to Hop Notes for Flavor 574. At about 12 feet in diameter, the tanks were deconstructed, moved and rebuilt on site at Bell’s.
The ale from these tanks, Andrews’ Ale, is on tap now at the Eccentric Cafe and is a nod to traditional 19th century English brews.
