A Mentone woman has pleaded guilty in Kosciusko County Court to welfare fraud, a Class C Felony.

Holly R. Clabaugh, 29, was accused of defrauding the system by collecting unemployment insurance benefits while working full-time, according to a news release from the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.

Through the use of agency records, a Department of Workforce Development investigator determined that Clabaugh was working full time and receiving wages while claiming unemployment insurance benefits.

Clabaugh has been ordered to repay $37,895.75 in restitution for the benefits she collected and was sentenced to four years of probation.
