After a brief spike for Thanksgiving travelers, gas prices have dropped to levels well below $2-a-gallon again as the calendar turns to December.
The average price for a gallon of unleaded gas in Indiana on Sunday, Nov. 29, was $1.89, which is down about a dime from where it was last Wednesday, according to Gas Buddy.
Around the area, Warsaw has the lowest average price at $1.81, South Bend was next $1.84, followed by Fort Wayne and Plymouth at $1.89, Goshen $1.95 and Columbia City $1.97.
The lowest prices in the state are in Lafayette were drivers are paying as little as $1.42 a gallon, according to Gas Buddy.
