GAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Authorities in western Michigan are trying to find people who bought nude photos and videos online from a 15-year-old Grand Rapids-area girl.

WZZM-TV and WOOD-TV report Thursday that court records show the Gaines Township girl made more than $1,100 in about a year’s time before being stopped by her mother.

The girl told authorities she met the buyers through a popular Internet messenger application.

Records show the girl posted “selling stuff” on the social media site.

WZZM-TV reports that a Kent County sheriff’s detective wrote in a search warrant affidavit that “men would then contact her and ask what she was selling.”

The photos and videos of the girl were sent from her email. Buyers were charged $20 and $100 through an Internet payment account before receiving the items.
