St. Joseph County Metro Homicide and South Bend Police were called to the area of Arthur and Sorin Streets in South Bend after the report of a man down.
Officers arrived around 7 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16 where they found a male body lying behind a vehicle, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.
The victim was identified as Jodie Henderson, 27, by St. Joseph County Metro Homicide.
The cause and manner of Henderson’s death has not yet been determined, but authorities are investigating the death as a homicide, ABC 57 reported.
Investigators conducted a search of the area on Saturday and spoke to nearly two dozen people, but as of 8 p.m. on Saturday, no arrests had been announced.
