CHICAGO (AP) — Shedd Aquarium will be closed Wednesday and Thursday for routine maintenance and cleaning.

The facility will reopen Friday. Illinois Resident Discount Days will then run through Jan. 26 and continue each Monday and Tuesday through February.

The discount days are sponsored by the Ford Motor Co. Fund.

Participants also receive discounted admission to Shedd’s other exhibits, including the abbot Oceanarium and “Amphibians.”
