A police chase in St. Joseph County on Thursday night, Jan. 21, ended when the suspect’s vehicle crashed into a ditch and rolled over several times.
La Paz police attempted to pull over a vehicle for a traffic stop, but the driver instead led officers on a chase along the bypass, WNDU reported.
Eventually the suspect attempted to exit the bypass onto S.R. 4, but the vehicle spun out of control, hit a sign and a ditch before rolling over.
The suspect, who suffered minor injuries in the crash, climbed out of the vehicle’s passenger side window and was arrested, WNDU reported.
This was the third police chase reported in Michiana in as many days.
