Some semis will be banned from the Indiana Toll Road on Wednesday, Feb. 24, and Thursday, Feb. 25, as a winter storm is expected to drop a foot of snow across Michiana.

Triple trailers, long doubles including low and high profile semis and steel haulers, and high-profile oversize permit loads will be banned from the entire length of the road from noon Wednesday to noon Thursday.

Toll Road officials announced the ban in preparation for the winter storm hitting northern Indiana and southwestern Michigan on Wednesday and Thursday.
