An Elkhart County company received its seventh bomb threat in four months this week.

The threat came in the form of a handwritten note and was found on Wednesday, March 2, in a restroom inside Chassix in Bristol, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.

Before this week’s threat, the most recent threat happened last month, prompting the company offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect, The Elkhart Truth reported.

A South Bend man accused as the source of one of the other previous threats was arrested and pleaded guilty to a felony intimidation charge. His sentencing hearing is set for mid-April.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department.
