A man was shot in South Bend late Saturday night, March 12.

South Bend Police were called to the 700 block of East Broadway around 11:30 p.m. on the report of shots fired, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

On arrival they found one man suffering at least one gunshot wound.

A father shot his son in the abdomen then took off, according to police, as reported by WSBT.

The victim was reported to be consciuous as he was being transported to the hospital, ABC 57 reported.

As of 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, investigators have not released any possible suspect information or motive that led to the shooting.
