Two suspects arrested in Goshen double murder investigation

Two men were arrested Thursday morning, March 17, in connection to the double homicide in Goshen.

Diego A. Ramos, 22, of Elkhart, and Luis Rivas, 19, of Goshen, were booked into Elkhart County Jail on preliminary charges of murder, according to the Goshen Police Department.

They’re suspected in the deadly shootings of 27-year-old Jose Nava-Orozco and 43-year-old Marco A. Carmona-Gonzalez at Brookside Manor on Sunday, March 13.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Goshen Police say they plan to release more information later Thursday.
