One of the most affordable movie theaters in Michiana closed its curtains for the final time on Thursday, March 17.

Cinemark Movies 6 played “Ride Along 2” as its final showing before closing, WNDU reported. 

The movie theater located behind Best Buy on University Park Drive showed movies that were a few weeks or months old for a few dollars a seat. It also had a fully stocked concession stand and often played sensory-sensitive showings of children’s movies.

The theater property is listed for sale.

Other movie theaters in Michiana include Cinemark Movies 14 in Mishawaka, AMC Showplace 16 in South Bend, Wonderland Cinema in Niles, Mich., Carmike Encore Park 14 in Elkhart and Linway Cinema 14 in Goshen.
