U.S. 20 crash near Fail Road leaves one person dead

A person was found dead inside of a vehicle after a rollover crash on U.S. 20 west of Fail Road on Thursday morning, March 24.

The vehicle was traveling east on U.S. 20 when the driver lost control of it and hit a tree on the south side of the road, then flipped, according to Capt. Michael Kellems with the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Department. The crash was reported at about 8:15 a.m. Central.

The victim hasn’t been identified.
