Meth labs, meth found at Dowagiac home leads to arrest of man, woman

Two people were arrested in Dowagiac, Mich., on Wednesday, March 30, after police found five meth labs, meth and meth paraphernalia inside of a home. 

A 42-year-old woman and 34-year-old man were arrested on charges of manufacturing meth, maintaining a lab, creating hazardous waste, possession of meth and maintaining a meth lab within 500 feet of a residence, church or school, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department. Their names are being withheld until they are arraigned.

Officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of McOmber Street on Wednesday and found meth and two meth labs in a vehicle and three meth labs in the garage, the sheriff’s department said. Meth and meth paraphernalia were found in a second vehicle and meth was found when officers searched the woman.
