April showers are starting a little early.
The dark ominous clouds coming from the west are expected to bring a thunderstorm to Michiana, according to ABC 57 Chief Meteorologist Tom Coomes.
Coomes predicts that South Bend will see heavy rain and lightning by 4 p.m., but severe weather is not a guarantee.
The storm is moving northeast at about 55 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
