Territorial Road in Berrien County collapses, causing road closure

Part of Territorial Road in Berrien County collapsed on Tuesday night, April 5, and the road is closed until further notice.

The road collapsed over a culvert east of Millburg between North Branch and Park roads, according to the Berrien County Road Commission. The road blocked at the culvert with signs, orange cones and an orange plastic fence.

Nobody was injured in the collapse.

Drivers in the area are encouraged to detour to North Branch and Park roads (see embedded map below). It’s not clear how long the closure will last.
