Pedestrian hit, killed by train near New Carlisle on Thursday night

A male pedestrian was hit and killed by a train at the Tulip Road railroad crossing near New Carlisle on Thursday night, April 7.

The crash happened at about 6 p.m., WNDU reported. The train was stopped for about two hours after the crash while police investigated.

The pedestrian hasn’t been identified.
