A 16-year-old boy was shot in the leg on South Bend’s west side on Monday night, April 11.

The boy was found by police at about 11:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of O’Brien Street, WNDU reported. He was taken to an area hospital but his injuries aren’t believed to be life threatening.

Officers are looking for a suspect.
