Downtown South Bend restaurants looking forward to outdoor dining as weather improves

As the weather gets better, restaurants in downtown South Bend are looking ahead to summer and thinking about providing outdoor dining options.

Fiddler’s Hearth, South Bend Brew Werks, Woochi Japanese Fusion and Bar and Tapastrie were each granted outdoor dining permits by the South Bend Board of Public Works recently, WNDU reported.

Cinco 5 was denied a permit but is working with the city of South Bend to see what can be done to allow the restaurant to offer outdoor seating.

Other restaurants in downtown South Bend have offered outdoor dining in the past and many are expected to do so again in 2016, including South Bend Chocolate Café.
