Man, woman arrested after meth bust in Cass County

Two people were arrested after police found meth in a Cass County, Mich., home while executing a search warrant on Thursday, April 14.

When officers arrived, they detained a 48-year-old woman who was walking out of the garage, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office said.

A 43-year-old man was found hiding under a vehicle and he dropped a small plastic bag containing meth while he was being escorted out of the garage, the sheriff’s office said.

Police said they also found meth paraphernalia in a van on the property and in a bedroom in the house.

The man was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, delivery of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug house and a warrant out of Florida. The woman was arrested on possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house.

Their names are being withheld pending arraignment.
