The crash happened just after 10 p.m. on S.R. 19 near C.R. 600 South near Mentone, Sgt. Chad Hill with the Kosicusko County Sheriff’s Department said. The New York man was airlifted to Parkview Regional Medical Center.
The driver of the car told police he was driving north on S.R. 19 and he didn’t see the bicyclist until right before the collision, Hill said.
