Middlebury man killed in crash involving semi near Bristol

A 29-year-old Middlebury man died after a crash involving a pickup truck and a semi near Bristol late Tuesday morning, June 21.

James W. Miller III was driving a pickup truck west on S.R. 120 east of C.R. 37 when the vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a semi truck driving east, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department.

Miller was killed in the crash. The driver of the semi, a 49-year-old Middlebury man, was not injured.

The crash is still under investigation.
