Power won’t be restored for many Indiana Michigan Power customers until Thursday afternoon, June 23.
Indiana Michigan Power expects Elkhart area customers to have power again by 11 p.m. Tuesday, June 21. South Bend area residents may be without power until 3 p.m. Thursday.

Customers in Three Rivers, Mich., should have power restored by 4 p.m. Tuesday, while customers in Benton Harbor, Mich., and Buchanan, Mich., are expected to have power restored by 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.

Area ETRs are for full restoration of storm damage. Many customers will have power back before then as crews progress through repairs.

The outages may be extended depending on the severity of the storms expected to move through Michiana on Wednesday.
Storms are expected to start mid-day Wednesday and continue off and on through the night, bringing hail, heavy rainfall and possibly high winds. Severe weather is possible, according to Tom Coomes, chief meteorologist with ABC 57.
