A Mishawaka bank robbery suspect was arrested Tuesday after police say officers saw him walking on the bridge behind the Mishawaka Police Department hours after the robbery.

Glenn Deal, 30, of South Bend is being held without bond at St. Joseph County Jail on a preliminary charge of robbery, according to online jail records.

A robbery was reported just before 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Mutual Bank in the 400 block of McKinley Highway. Hours later, police saw a man matching the suspect’s description near the police station.
