There is nothing more All-American than enjoying a delicious hot dog on a summer evening while watching a game of Little League baseball.

But someone wanted to take some of the nostalgia home with them when the concession stands at the Concord Little League fields were burglarized.

It happened on Thursday, July 15, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department.

An Aquafina/Pepsi vending machine was vandalized and pried open, the sheriff’s department reported.

Several cases of pop and candy were stolen, along with a hot dog machine, a cheese/chili machine, and a microwave, the sheriff’s department reported.

Anyone has any information about the person(s) believed to be responsible is asked to submit a tip to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department by calling Detective Walsh at (574) 891-2355, emailing mwalsh@elkahrtcountysheriff.com, or submitting a tip via Tip 411 on the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page and website.
