Three people shot at two locations in South Bend on Tuesday afternoon

Three people were shot at two different places in South Bend just minutes from each other on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 2.

A 26-year-old man was shot in the 700 block of North Michigan Street just before 1:15 p.m., according to our news partners ABC 57. That victim is expected to survive.

Less than 10 minutes later, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were shot at Sunrise Cafe on the corner of Lincoln Way West and College Street.

All three were listed in stable condition by late Tuesday afternoon, according to South Bend Police.

Investigators are attempting to determine if these incidents are related.

North Michigan or South Michigan Street? 700 block of North Michigan is currently under construction, right in front of Memorial Hospital.
