Deadly motorcycle crash being investigated in Van Buren County

The Van Buren County Police Department is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash.

It happened around 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, on County Road 653 in Antwerp Township.

Authorities say a 47-year-old man from Paw Paw was riding south when his motorcycle veered off the road and hit a mailbox.

He wasn’t wearing a helmet and was found unconscious at the scene.

He was taken to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, where he passed away from his injuries.
